Mrs Price introduced me to the drama school I ended up getting a scholarship to attend - The Guildford School of Acting, and she guided me through the application process, and held my hand throughout the ups and downs of inevitable rejections and euphoric acceptances. I couldn't have done it without her.
I jumped into every drama and theatre activity available to me during my time at King’s - from LAMDA lessons to lunchtime clubs, after school clubs and Saturday morning drama workshops, drama trips, drama lessons during the week and eventually drama GCSE's and A Levels. I couldn't get enough. I participated in the school productions from year 7 to year 13 and received a drama scholarship for Sixth Form at Kings High.
I made the decision to apply for drama school in year 13 to complete a 3 year BA Acting degree. I graduated from GSA in 2019 and have lived in London ever since, working in theatre, TV, film, adverts and video game voice overs. My favourite projects to date have been working on the BBC series Inside Number 9, the ITV drama Tell Me Everything, performing at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre and the Royal Court Theatre and voicing the United Nations new online learning platform. I have also been working in cafes, restaurants, bars, schools, shops, florists, and it would be dishonest of me to not include this part-time work that often comes along with working as an actor. There can be months between jobs, so it is important to find other things to keep you going. I am currently in rehearsals for a play opening in London this Christmas and along with a friend of mine from Warwick School, have written a film and are in the process of getting the final bits of funding.
