  • Personal Assistant to Head Master – King's High School

    We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, skilled and reliable Personal Assistant to provide a high standard of support to the Head Master at King's High School. The successful candidate will have experience of successfully providing senior personal assistant support, ideally within a school setting.  A high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism is a must. The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across Warwick Schools Foundation and the Professional Services Teams to ensure that core school functions, including HR and Finance, operate efficiently.

    The successful candidate will have the ability and confidence to work independently and will remain calm and professional when under pressure.  They will approach tasks with a positive can-do attitude, working with accuracy and attention to detail.  They must have superb interpersonal and communication skills and have excellent I.T. skills, including Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Contract: Permanent, full-time, term-time only, plus 80 hours during the school holidays (to include all the week prior to the start of the new academic year).

    Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 07:45 to 16:45, with a one hour unpaid lunch break. Some variation in the hours of work may be possible.

    Salary : The salary scale for this role is from Point 28 to Point 31.  This equates to an actual salary range of Point 28, £30,537 per annum to Point 31, £33,291 per annum.

  • Boarding Housekeeper

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Boarding Housekeeper. 

    The Boarding House Keeper will report directly to School House Matron. ​The key areas of responsibility and duties which attach to the position are set out below. 

    • To be responsible for cleaning designated areas within the boarding house as directed by the School House Matron​

    • Cleaning duties will include but are not limited to, cleaning designated bedrooms, communal rooms, corridors, bathrooms and toilets. ​

    • General awareness of health and safety within the boarding house and reporting any concerns to the matron or Head of Boarding​

    • To comply with School Health and Safety policies and procedures​

    • Report and issues that require repair / maintenance​

    • Attend relevant training courses including Child Protection, Manual Handling , COSSH awareness and Fire Safety​

    • The Successful applicant will be expected to work 190 days per year which includes the preparation of the boarding house at the beginning and end of each term.​

    Working weeks: 37.4 weeks

    Working hours: 29 hours​: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm​ and Sundays 4 hours

    Salary:  

    • Actual Salary: £15,510
    • FTE Salary all year round, 37 hours a week: £23,492

  • Temporary EYFS Teaching Assistant (Nursery) – Warwick Preparatory School

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years Foundation Stage based in the Nursery at Warwick Preparatory School. The role is Full-Time until May 2026. There may be the possibility of extending this position.

    The successful candidate will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and a forward-thinking approach to education within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

    Under the direction of the Room Leader and Head of Nursery, the role will provide support to the pupils in both the curriculum and pastorally, helping to raise standards by ensuring high expectations are set and adhered to. The position will provide support to the teacher by supervising activities or groups and general admin support (marking, photocopying etc.).

    The role will report to the Head of Pre-Prep.

    Hours : The hours are 40.5 hours per week for 34.6 weeks of the year, working on a Monday and Tuesday from 7:45am to 5:45pm and on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:45am to 4:15pm.  There will be a one hour unpaid break each day.

    Salary : Actual pay range from £21,215 pa to £22,140 pa. The full-time equivalent range is £27,224 pa to £28,411pa.

  • Lunch Time Supervisor and After School Care Assistant - Warwick Preparatory School

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Lunch time Supervisor/ After School Care Assistant with some first aid support. The role is part-time, working 26 hours and 15 minutes per week, term-time only plus Inset days.

The successful candidate for this post will be an enthusiastic, dedicated and hard working individual, with good interpersonal skills; with a commitment to traditional values in relation to behaviour, manners, appearance and standards to which the school is strongly wedded.   

    The post-holder will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and a forward-thinking approach to working in a variety of contexts, including in the dining hall, nursery, classrooms and playgrounds, as set out in the job description.  

    The role will be broken down into two areas starting at 12.10pm in a Lunch time Supervisor capacity, working until 2.45 pm, which will include providing first aid cover and admin / classroom support. After a 30-minute unpaid  break from 14:45 to 15:15, the successful candidate will join the After School Care Team until 6pm.

    The role of Lunchtime Supervisor will report to Head of Prep and the role of After School Care Assistant will report to Head of Pre-Prep.

    Salary : The salary point for the Lunchtime Supervisor role is Point 12 (FTE : £23,793 per annum) and After School Care Assistant is Point 15 (FTE : £24,623 per annum). The actual total salary is £13,425 per annum.
