  • Teaching Assistant 1 to 1 - Warwick Junior School

    Warwick Junior School is seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant from January 2026 or earlier if possible.

    The primary duties of the 1:1 Teaching Assistant are to provide dedicated support for a pupil with SEND, helping them access learning, feel safe and supported, and participate in school life. The role involves working under the guidance of the class teachers and SENDCo to implement strategies that meet the pupil’s individual needs.

    The post will be attractive to someone who has previous experience of working with pupils with specific needs on a 1:1 basis in a school setting. This is a great opportunity for a suitably qualified individual, as the school seeks to
    deliver on our vision of being the most inspiring, rounded, and caring boys’ school in the UK.

    The role includes responsibility for supporting a pupil in lessons throughout the school day. An ability to deliver individual intervention sessions (and a willingness  to undertake training as necessary) would be beneficial, as would experience of working with an EHC plan, and the target setting and review process.

    The post holder will report directly to SENDCo.

    Salary : The salary for this role is Point 19 which is equivalent to 25,956 full time, and actual salary is 20,695 pro rated.

    This role is term, time only, plus INSET days and for 37 hours a week. Hours of work will be 8am 4pm Monday to Friday.

  • Exam Invigilators – King's High School

    King's High School are seeking to appoint individuals to join our examination invigilators.  The invigilators ensure that the candidates’ examinations are conducted according to the regulations and to allow all candidates to have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in a calm examination environment.

    The position requires invigilators to assist in preparing the examination room; distributing papers; seating candidates according to the plan; starting the examination; invigilating the examination ensuring that there is no communication between candidates; dealing with pupil queries; ending the examination; collecting in papers; and dismissing the candidates.

    Public examinations take place in April, May and June each year.  The length of sessions can vary, although you will need to stay for the duration of each session allocated.  Morning sessions usually begin at 8.30am and afternoon sessions at 1.00pm.  For further information, please see the job pack below.

    Casual position salary: £14.63 per hour (£12.50 + £2.13 holiday pay)

  • Lunchtime Supervisor - Warwick Junior School

    Warwick Junior School is seeking to appoint a lunchtime supervisor starting as soon as possible. The primary duties of the role are to supervise and support pupils during breaktime and in the lunch hall.

    The post will be attractive to someone who has experience of working with young children and has the skills and knowledge to provide a safe and supportive environment for all the boys.

    The role includes responsibility for supervising the boys on the playground or field as part of a team of staff, monitoring and supporting boys in the dining hall during lunchtime and liaising with teaching and other support staff where appropriate.

    The Lunchtime Supervisor will report directly to the Deputy Head.

    This is a Monday to Friday (Term time only) from 12pm-1.30pm (including complimentary school lunch).

    Salary : The salary scale for this role is Point 12 which is £23,793 full time, £3,758 pro-rated.

  • Teaching Assistant - Part Time (KS2)

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Teaching Assistant from November 2025. The part-time post (3 days a week) will be based in Upper KS2 for this academic year.

    The successful candidate will have an excellent rapport with children, have relevant experience and qualifications, be committed to the highest standards of educational provision and be in sympathy with the aims and ethos of Warwick Preparatory School.

    Under the direction of the Head of Prep, the Teaching Assistant will provide support to the pupils in both the curriculum and pastorally, helping to raise standards by ensuring high expectations are set and adhered to.  It will provide support to the teacher by supervising particular activities or groups and general admin support.

    The role will report to the Head of Prep.

    Hours : The hours are 23.5 hours per week working from 7.45am to 4pm on a Wednesday and Thursday and from 7.45am to 5.45pm on a Friday, with a one hour unpaid break each day. The position is term time only plus Inset days.

    Salary : The salary scale for this role is Point 16  to Point 19 This equates to an actual pay range of £12,594 pa to £13,144 pa. The full-time equivalent range is £24,871 pa to £25,956 pa.
