  • Graduate Organ Scholar (King's High School)

    We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Organ Scholar to start in September 2025-26, for a fixed-term, one-year academic contract with an opportunity to extend the position.

    The position is open to organists in sympathy with the aims and values of the Church of England, and with an interest in the education and musical development of young people.

    King's High School has a long and distinguished history of music-making, and this post builds upon the existing link between the Music Department at the school and the collegiate church of St Mary's, Warwick.  The post holder will work in the Music Departments of both King's High and St Mary's, being fully involved in the musical life of both institutions.The post-holder will be expected to undertake reasonable administrative duties in both institutions.

    The successful candidate will have a proven ability to play the organ to a high standard, including strong sight-reading skills, and the ability to improve as a player.  They will be an effective team member and have an interest in working together with young people.

    The appointment runs from the beginning of September and will include the following:

    King's High School:

    25 hours per week (Monday - Friday), term time only (35.4 weeks per year).  The salary is Point 11 (actual salary is £11,959 per annum).

    St Mary's Church:

    12.5 hours per week - spans Monday to Sunday but will usually include two days free of Church duties (Thursday and Saturday).  This role is all year round and the contract will cease on 31st August 2026.  The salary is between Point 11 - 15 (which is equivalent to the actual salary between £7,500 - £7,922 per annum).

  • Teaching Assistants -Warwick Preparatory School

    We are seeking to appoint two outstanding and innovative Teaching Assistants from February 2025. A full-time post and a part-time (2.5 days) in EYFS and KS1.

    The successful candidates will have an excellent rapport with young children, have relevant experience and qualifications, be committed to the highest standards of educational provision and be in sympathy with the aims and ethos of Warwick Preparatory School.

    Under the direction of the Head of Pre-Prep the Teaching Assistants will provide support to the pupils in both the curriculum and pastorally, helping to raise standards by ensuring high expectations are set and adhered to.  It will provide support to the teacher by supervising particular activities or groups and general admin support.

    Responsible to: Head of Pre-Prep

    Working hours : Full-time post - 7:45am to 4:00pm on 4 days a week  and 7:45am to 5:45pm on 1 day a week
                                 Part-time post - 7:45am to 4:00pm on 1day a week and 7:45am to 5:45pm on 1 day a week and                                                                7:45am to 12:45pm on 1 day a week

    Salary : The salary scale for this role is Point 16 to Point 19 of Foundation pay scales 
    Actual salary for full-time post - £18,857 to £20,005 per annum 
    Actual salary for part-time post - £9,725 to £10,317 per annum

  • Assistant Examinations Manager

    We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Examinations Manager to support the smooth running of examinations management (public and internal) within the school, as well as to undertake some administrative duties.


    The successful candidate will work closely with our Examinations Manager, helping to ensure that all aspects of exams processes are effectively covered. They will have excellent administrative and organizational skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. They will be required to acquire a detailed understanding of the workings of examinations, both internal and external, in the school and to work efficiently and accurately under the guidance of the Examinations Manager.


    The post-holder will need to be available to work for one day per week during term time throughout the year. In addition, they will need to be able to work full-time during busy periods, specifically:

    • The day before A Level Results day in mid-August until the end of August
    • The two-week period in early January during which the school runs mock examinations
    • The period of GCSE and A Level examinations, which normally extends from early May until late June; this period of time also covers the School’s internal end of year examinations

    Salary : The Foundation salary support band scale for this role is P16 – P19 (P16 actual salary £8058 to P19 actual salary £8549 per annum). .

  • Teaching Assistant: Early Years Foundation Stage at The Kingsley School

    The Kingsley School is seeking to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant from February 2025 to work in the school's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Some of the main duties of the role include:

     It is an essential requirement for the applicant to have an Early Years Practitioner qualification.

    Hours: 21 hours per week (3 full days working from 8am – 4pm) term time only plus INSET days.
