Higher Education and Careers Fair
Our biennial careers fair, open to pupils across the Foundation from Years 10 to 13, is a major event in the school calendar.
The event is designed to open doors to future possibilities and inspire our pupils as they explore the many pathways available beyond school. With a fantastic range of universities, apprenticeship providers, and industry professionals joining us throughout the evening, the careers fair is a valuable opportunity for pupils to gather insights, ask questions, and make informed choices about their next steps.
Whether they are considering university, degree apprenticeships, or exploring career options, this event is designed to help our pupils make confident and ambitious decisions about their future. Our hope is that through the event, our pupils take full advantage of the expertise on offer, engage in meaningful conversations, and leave feeling inspired and informed.
The latest edition of our Higher Education and Careers Fair will take place on Thursday, 13 March. This year, in addition to talks on our various pathways such as Law, Medicine, and Oxbridge, we are delighted to welcome over 40 universities to speak to our students. This year, the universities in attendance include The University of Birmingham, University of Leeds, and The University of Warwick. In addition to a range of universities, we also welcome over 30 exhibitors to the fair, including Jaguar Land Rover, National Grid, and Volvo.
We are also delighted to welcome a host of guest speakers to give talks on their area of expertise, including Anthony Anderson (Advanced Research Engineer), Fred Binley (Head of UK Student Recruitment and Widening Participation at Lancaster University), and Willow Herald (Director of Global School Partnerships).
