On Thursday, 28 November, we were delighted to continue our important relationship with other local schools as we joined with them for a historic evening of music - our Foundation Gala Concert at Butterworth Hall. 

Last year, we announced our proposal for the creation of a multi-academy trust, and we were thrilled to be joined at Warwick Arts Centre by Clapham Terrace, Evergreen School, Exhall Grange Specialist School, and Westgate Primary School.

Each of our schools were represented magnificently; pupils from Year 3 all the way through to Upper Sixth demonstrated their musical talent, with the exceptionally high level of performance showcasing that when we collaborate as a Foundation, the outcome is greater than the sum of its parts.

We enjoyed a fantastic performance from the choir of Evergreen School, along with a collaboration from the massed choirs of the other proposed MAT schools and our Foundation, and the Calling All Dawns Orchestra.

Throughout the evening, there were some truly outstanding performances - both solo and ensemble - that wouldn't look out of place in a professional conservatoire. The evening was a true testament to the outstanding music provision across the Foundation.
